Continuous standardization comes with its own set of challenges. Striking the right balance between standardization and flexibility is crucial, as excessive rigidity can stifle innovation and hinder adaptability. Employees may resist standardized processes if they perceive them as overly strict or cumbersome. This is where the interrelation with continuous improvement comes into play.
