Have you ever wondered why IKEA decided that we should assemble our own furniture? Although of course it has that DIY thing that lots of people love, the truth is that disassembled furniture has some benefits such as lowering damage when shipping, lowering space occupied in storage (think about lean wastes!) and logistics improvements.
